WINNERS 2008

The European Beer Star Award 2008 was presented on Thursday 15th November 2008 as part of the BRAU Beviale in Nuremberg. Once again 2008 beers were celebrated for their character and unadulterated nature and for their outstanding taste which best fulfils the set criteria for the different varieties. As in the Olympics, the winners are awarded gold, silver or bronze medals.
Visitors at the BRAU Beviale chose their beers at a blind tasting session. These Consumers` Favourites were chosen from ranks of the European Beer Star gold medal winners. This coveted public prize was awarded at the award ceremony in addition to the gold medal for the individual category.
