For 125 years, Doemens experts from the brewing, beverage and food industries have been passing on their knowledge and skills in theory and practice to professionals in the industry. With the Savoury Academy and its training courses for beer, water, and fruit juice sommeliers, Doemens makes a current and practical contribution to the topic of diversity and quality, in line with the European Beer Star idea. The Doemens Academy has played a decisive role in the successful organization and implementation of the tasting competition on site in Munich-Gräfelfing.

Since the first European Beer Star in 2004, Doemens has been the strong partner at the side of the association Private Brauereien. And this in many ways: on the one hand as a logistics and implementation service provider, on the other hand the institute contributes proven sensory expertise. This ranges from the training of the table captains to the descriptions of the beer categories.
