The association Private Brauereien Deutschland e.V. acts as numeric strongest national brewers' association in Europe. Being the organ of the regional medium-sized and small breweries the association Private Brauereien Deutschland pursues the policy to represent and to advance the professional, economical, cultural and social concerns of these breweries. All the members of the association aim at brewing fresh speciality beers on the highest quality level which represent the character of their individual region and aim at caring for the great cultural inheritance of the european brewing tradition. With the association Private Brauereien Bayern e.V. the association Private Brauereien Deutschland e.V. acts as official organizer of the international beer competition European Beer Star.
